Console design

I chose the CPU because it was powerful and cheap. And, I believe that a faster console makes for a better gaming experience.

I chose my storage media because it has a large capacity and was cheap compared to others on the market. Being able to store lots of media content always the console to have a much longer life, for example if it had only 2GB of storage it's life would only be about a month because it would have used up all of it's data.

My output display was chosen because of it's cheapness and because it has 5 ports which could be extremely useful. HDMI is the best quality piece of hardware you can buy for the best optimizing the consoles true potential.

I picked the Tenda for my connectivity because it was cheap and would fit easily into a console.

For the RAM and memory i chose the Patriot Viper 3 (Black Mamba) because of it's sheer power. The quicker it can load and the more visually appealing the graphics it can produce mean more people may buy my machine.

I chose this sound card because it was a 6 channel card that was extremely cheap in comparison. Sound is important on a console so choosing the right one is crucial, this card seems to be everything I may need.

My power supply was chosen for reliability and price since all the others seemed to be more expensive for the same kind of unit. A reliable power source makes for a much more reliable machine and the more reliable it is the longer it's life and the better review it will get. Therefore, more people will interested in purchasing my console.

I designed the controller in this way for constant ease of use (note this console is designed to run Japanese style games which are mainly turn based and free form combat, so a designed were all of the buttons required are only millimeters away for your finger tips is an extreme advantage in battle).

For the human computer interface i decided to go with a simple layout for ultimate easiness. i also thought that every other layout there is is essentially the same thing so why not show how easy it is to use by utilizing it's layout.
